VCHRGD Seven is the original 7.4 kW smart charger that preceded Seven Pro. Manufacturer and government records identify E-007-STH-01 with a fixed 5 m Type 2 cable and E-007-SUH-01 with a universal Type 2 socket. These are variants of one family, so they are grouped here rather than treated as separate products.
Position in the range
The original Seven no longer has a dedicated page in VCHRGD’s current product navigation, where Seven Pro is the home-focused model. VCHRGD still refers to Seven hardware in company and recycling material, and installed units may remain operational. This page therefore marks Seven as superseded, not withdrawn or unsupported.
The charger uses a single-phase supply and provides up to 7.4 kW, subject to the circuit setting, site load and vehicle’s onboard charger. A tethered unit carries its own Type 2 lead. A socketed unit requires a separate Type 2 cable with the correct vehicle connector at the other end.
Smart charging and solar
Seven documentation describes scheduling, app control, RFID access, dynamic load management and current-transformer-based solar charging. Dynamic load management reduces charger demand when the measured site load approaches the configured supply limit. Solar mode responds to measured import or export and does not connect the charger directly to the solar inverter.
Operation of cloud or app functions depends on the retained account, network connection and service availability for the installed unit. The charger can also appear under its exact E-007 part number in handover documents or public model lists.
Warranty and installed-unit identity
VCHRGD states a three-year charger warranty and provides a registration route. For an older installation, the invoice, installation date, serial number and original warranty document determine whether cover remains. Installation workmanship has separate terms from the charger warranty.
The unit label distinguishes Seven from Seven Pro. Although the families share a 7.4 kW rating and similar functions, their enclosure, connection arrangement and commissioning material are not interchangeable.
