Clearline Fusion is Viridian Solar’s roof-integrated PV system. The panels and aluminium flashing kits replace the tiles or slates within the array area instead of sitting on rails above the finished roof covering.
Current panel formats
G1 is the narrower format. M10 has a larger footprint, while PV16-445AG-M10 uses the same outside dimensions as M10 but changes its cell technology and rear construction.
The module efficiencies in the datasheets use aperture area. A comparison with a module rated from its full outside area needs the same convention. Temperature behaviour and power-warranty figures also differ by format, so Clearline Fusion is not one interchangeable electrical specification.
The roof-system specification
Portrait and landscape flashing kits are documented for tiled or slated pitched roofs. The standard MCS 012 and British Board of Agrément certificates define the normal pitch range. Viridian’s separate low-pitch technical note gives lower-pitch arrangements with Tyvek Supro or Delta Exxtrem membranes. Those are named construction details rather than a general minimum for every roof.
The British Board of Agrément certificate applies its external-fire classification and wind-resistance values to the panel and flashing-kit system. Roof location, edge zones and the supporting structure still form part of the site design.
The same certificate states that the system has a structural life equivalent to the roof structure under normal service conditions when it is designed, installed and maintained in accordance with the certificate and manufacturer instructions. That is a system assessment, separate from the electrical module warranty.
Warranty and product identity
Current module datasheets use a common product-warranty period but different power-warranty terms for the module formats. The specification table preserves those distinctions.
The MCS module certificate uses broad Clearline code ranges, while the live panel page identifies the four outputs above for new projects. The complete PV16 code and the portrait or landscape roofing-kit code identify the installed combination.
