Enphase IQ7A-72-M-INT is a panel-level solar microinverter with 349 W rated power and 366 VA maximum apparent power. It remains in Enphase’s UK comparison and current Great Britain warranty.

Input matching

IQ7A has an 18 to 58 V input range, a 33 V start-up voltage and a 38 to 43 V MPPT window. Maximum input current is 10.2 A, maximum short-circuit input current is 25 A and maximum input power is 500 W.

The input-power figure is not the AC output rating. Module matching has to satisfy the voltage and current limits as well as account for the difference between 500 W maximum input and 349 W rated output.

AC branch and enclosure

IQ7A produces 230 V AC with 1.59 A maximum output current and 97.23% maximum efficiency. A 20 A circuit supports up to ten units on a single-phase branch or 30 distributed across three phases. The corresponding IQ Cable section limits are ten and eighteen.

The enclosure measures 212 × 175 × 30.2 mm without its bracket and weighs 1.1 kg with the mounting plate. It is rated IP67, uses natural-convection cooling and operates from -40°C to 60°C. Communications use power-line communication through the Enphase AC cabling.
