IQ8MC microinverter

Enphase IQ8MC-72-M-INT is a current UK panel-level microinverter with 325 W rated power, 330 W maximum AC output and 96.7% European weighted efficiency.

Solar input

IQ8MC has an 18 to 60 V overall input range, a 22 V start-up voltage and a 25 to 45 V MPPT window. Maximum input current is 14 A, maximum short-circuit input current is 25 A and maximum input power is 480 W.

The DC input ceiling and 325 W rated AC power are not interchangeable. Module matching must satisfy the voltage and current limits across the module’s operating temperature range.

AC branch

The microinverter produces 230 V AC with 1.43 A maximum output current. Maximum efficiency is 97.5%, while European weighted efficiency is 96.7%. A 20 A circuit supports up to eleven units on a single-phase branch or 33 distributed across three phases.

IQ8MC uses power-line communication. Its enclosure measures 212 × 175 × 30.2 mm without the bracket, weighs 1.1 kg with the mounting plate and is rated IP67. Natural-convection cooling has no fan, and the ambient operating range is -40°C to 65°C.

Warranty territory

The Great Britain warranty is 25 years in Scotland, England and Wales, conditional on an internet-connected IQ Gateway and the remaining terms. Northern Ireland needs its applicable document.
