Growatt’s SPH range includes two distinct hybrid solar and battery inverter systems. BL-UP is single phase and uses low-voltage batteries; BH-UP is three phase and uses high-voltage batteries.
BL-UP low-voltage system
The single-phase family has a low-voltage battery input. Named BL-UP models pair with AXE 5.0L-C1 modules in configurations of one to ten. A different low-voltage battery still needs an explicit supported pairing.
BH-UP high-voltage system
The three-phase family uses a different battery-voltage window and battery controls. Named BH-UP models pair with three to ten ARK 2.5H-A1 modules.
BL-UP and BH-UP manuals, meters and battery parts are not interchangeable. Battery type, phase, meter, backup equipment and grid record depend on the full suffix.
The worldwide catalogue also uses SPH within current HU, HU2 and HUB classes outside the two systems covered here. Their specifications must not be inferred from BL-UP or BH-UP.
UPS transfer time and exact-model grid records
Both families have a short UPS (uninterruptible power supply) transfer time: 10 milliseconds on the product pages and less than 10 milliseconds in the technical schedules. This is an inverter switching specification, not a guarantee that every connected appliance will continue without disturbance. Metering, switching equipment and protected-load selection define the installed result.
The grid record must identify the exact SPH model and phase arrangement.

BL-UP and BH-UP UK supply
BL-UP and BH-UP had worldwide availability on 23 July 2026. BL-UP also had a UKCA record and a UK SPH case, while current UK supply remained unconfirmed for individual ratings.
