AXE battery
Growatt AXE 5.0L-C1 is a modular low-voltage residential battery; separate commercial high-voltage products also use the AXE name.

Growatt uses the AXE name for more than one battery platform. AXE 5.0L-C1 is a low-voltage residential module; other AXE codes identify commercial high-voltage systems.
Residential AXE LV
The residential schedule increases charge and discharge power as modules are added, then reaches a system limit. The inverter can impose a lower limit, so the battery schedule is not an AC output rating.
The operating-temperature and enclosure ratings are separate constraints. Neither can be inferred from the corresponding commercial AXE systems.
Growatt’s configuration guide lists AXE LV with named single-phase SPH and SPA systems. The product page’s broader 400 kWh headline covers arrangements beyond that one-inverter residential schedule.
| Battery module | Inverter family | Separate BMS or power module | Module count | Backup position |
|---|---|---|---|---|
AXE 5.0L-C1 |
SPH 3000-6000TL BL-UP |
none | 1–10 | built-in UPS function |
AXE 5.0L-C1 |
SPA 1000-3000TL BL |
none | 1–10 | built-in UPS function |
European storage inverters require the EU AXE battery model. The regional suffix therefore matters alongside the module count and inverter code.
The AXE name on commercial cabinets
AXE 30-60H, AXE 50-60H, AXE 75-80H and AXE 80-261H are separate high-voltage products. AXE 50-60H is an IP55 high-voltage system intended for named WIT pairings. Its enclosure rating, power schedule and installation conditions do not belong to AXE 5.0L-C1.
This page does not assign technical specifications or controller compatibility to those commercial systems. AXE battery on its own is incomplete: the voltage class, full module or cabinet suffix, quantity, inverter code and control equipment establish which AXE system is specified.
The residential datasheet’s warranty period is qualified by Growatt’s general service terms, including the country of sale and any terms written into the sales order.
Residential and commercial AXE supply in the UK
The 23 July 2026 worldwide catalogue retained both residential and commercial AXE families. Current UK supply was unconfirmed for the individual module, cabinet and controller codes.
