SUN2000 single-phase inverter

Huawei's residential single-phase SUN2000 range spans several generations, including L1, LB0 and LC0 families with different solar, battery and backup limits.

Specifications

Rated AC power (kW)2 to 10 across the current L1, LB0 and LC0 residential families

Warranty (years)10 for the named current residential families in the May 2026 European policy

Huawei uses SUN2000 across several single-phase residential inverter families with separate battery and backup arrangements. On 23 July 2026, Huawei’s configuration tool listed L1, LB0 and LC0 as distinct options. The suffix is part of the product identity, but Huawei’s generic and UK-launched High Current Version L1 schedules show that the data plate and matching document revision can also be required.

L1, LB0 and LC0

KTL-L1 is a single-phase hybrid family with direct LUNA2000 battery connections and named BackupBox or SmartGuard routes. The generic battery row includes S0 and S1, while the UK-launched High Current Version row includes S0. Current compatibility evidence must therefore match the exact hardware.

LB0 and LC0 are separate inverter families with their own system tables. L1 specifications must not be transferred to them.

The broad SUN2000 single-phase description is useful only as a category. It does not establish:

  • rated AC output or maximum PV input
  • MPPT count and current limits
  • direct battery support
  • compatible module controllers
  • backup equipment or switching time
  • G98 or G99 evidence

Those facts come from the rating label, hardware version and matching document revision. The suffix alone does not resolve the two current L1 schedules.

Warranty records and UK codes

Huawei’s European policy dated 19 May 2026 places the named L1, LB0 and LC0 families in its residential inverter warranty schedule, subject to the sales contract. The April 2024 UK PSTI (Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure) statement names the L1 ratings plus 8K-LC0 and 10K-LC0; its period covers product security. All three families remain in Huawei’s configuration tool, while UK new supply for every rating and suffix is unconfirmed.
