Tiger Neo is Jinko Solar’s n-type TOPCon PV-module family. It is an umbrella name, not a single panel with one wattage or warranty.
Generations and formats
The original Tiger Neo family was launched in 2021 and expanded in 2022. Jinko Solar’s current European catalogue now separates Tiger Neo 2.0 and Tiger Neo 3.0. The 2.0 range covers several residential and larger project formats, while 3.0 uses newer QL6 codes and revised performance figures.
Jinko Solar also unveiled Tiger Neo 5.0 in June 2026. The announcement described a 700 W large-format module, but the European product catalogue had not replaced its 2.0 and 3.0 range presentation at 23 July 2026. A generation announcement and a current European catalogue entry are therefore different availability signals.
Reading a product code
The complete JKM... model code establishes the panel being supplied. The number identifies its nameplate power, while the following cell-format and construction characters distinguish products such as 48QL6, 51QL6, 54HL4-V and 54HL4R-B. Suffixes including DB, DV, BDV and BDB are not interchangeable because they can change appearance, rear-side generation, glass construction and warranty.
The same rule applies to MCS records. Current entries existed for products from several Tiger Neo generations at 23 July 2026, but certification does not establish current distributor stock. For an installed module, the label and serial number are the starting points for the matching datasheet and warranty.
Warranty boundary
Jinko Solar’s European warranty schedules applying to relevant agreements signed on or after 19 September 2025 set terms by full module type. Covered Tiger Neo codes have product-warranty periods of 12, 15 or 25 years and 30-year power schedules. The annual degradation rate is either 0.35% or 0.40% in those documents. Earlier purchases can be governed by earlier versions, so the generation name alone is insufficient.
