LXP 3600 SQPOD
LXP 3600 SQPOD, marketed as Squirrel Pod, is a parallel-capable AC-coupled battery inverter/controller rather than a battery pack.

LXP 3600 SQPOD is the model identity used in LuxpowerTek’s 2024 company brochure for the product marketed as Squirrel Pod. It is an AC-coupled inverter/controller for battery storage, not the battery itself.
Controller and battery are separate
The controller has a 3.6 kW AC output and a 40 to 60 V battery range in the shared 2024 ACS/SQPOD schedule. Maximum charge/discharge current is 70 A, subject to a 3.6 kW charge/discharge power limit.
Storage capacity depends on the battery modules connected to each controller. The brochure illustrated then-supported stacks of one to eight 5.12 kWh modules per unit, but that is not a permanent controller capacity or a general compatibility statement. The actual system is defined by the battery manufacturer, model, module count, usable capacity, current limit and separate warranty.
Multi-unit arrangement
Up to six Squirrel Pod units can be connected. One controller acts as the primary unit with the current-transformer connections, while the others operate as subordinate units. Each controller has its own battery stack.
This arrangement increases inverter power as well as potential storage, so it changes the connection assessment. The number of controllers cannot be chosen from battery capacity alone. Aggregate registered capacity, phase arrangement, export limitation and the current type-test evidence all need to match the design.
Conflicting manufacturer figures
The live product page and 2024 shared schedule do not agree on two specifications. The live figures are 97.9% maximum efficiency and changeover below 10 milliseconds; the 2024 figures are 97.3% and 20 milliseconds. Neither position is silently preferred here. The specification applicable to an installed unit should be taken from its exact hardware revision and supplied technical document.
Current status and warranty
The dedicated manufacturer page remained live on 23 July 2026, but the current central product catalogue listed LXP 3600 ACS rather than SQPOD. New-supply status is therefore unconfirmed.
The current global warranty terms also name LXP 3600ACS (standard or parallel model) but do not name SQPOD or Squirrel Pod. A five-year ACS term should not be assumed for an SQPOD without warranty documentation tied to its serial number and purchase.
