Solo 3 is a broader Pod Point charger family found in home, workplace, fleet and shared-residential records. Pod now sells Solo 3S as its home product, while its current business pages continue to name Solo 3 for managed sites.

Power and connector variants

The home range contains 3.6 kW and 7.4 kW single-phase models and a 22 kW three-phase model, with a Type 2 socket or tethered Type 1 or Type 2 options. Commercial models use a universal Type 2 socket at up to 7 or 22 kW.

Managed and domestic use

Commercial Solo 3 installations can be connected to Pod Point’s network. That managed-site arrangement differs from a home charger registered to one household.

The documented home version has Wi-Fi, integrated 6 mA DC leakage detection, PME and failed-earth protection, an IP54 enclosure and IK10 impact protection. Its 22 kW model does not support Auto Power Balancing as standard.

Lifecycle and warranty

The Solo 3 home warranty is three years. Later Solo 3S packages use different terms.
