Pylontech H48074 is a 48 V, 3.552 kWh LFP battery module used in PowerCube H2 high-voltage rack systems. Modules connect in series behind a compatible Pylontech controller. The H48074 is not a standalone 48 V home battery and should not be paralleled like a US-series module.
Module specification
H48074 has 74 Ah nominal capacity, measures 442 by 390 by 132 mm and weighs 32 kg. Normal charge and discharge current is 37 A. Its standard test current is 14.8 A and the 15-second maximum is 74 A. IP20 protection means the module relies on the rack and installation environment.
Module-level communication is RS232 and CAN. The complete PowerCube system uses its controller for voltage, current, protection and external communications, so the loose module data is not a complete battery-system specification.
Configuration limits
The hosted manual describes PowerCube H2 with five to 18 H48074 modules and an SC1000-100 controller. Pylontech’s current European and UK PowerCube warranty lists different controller-specific module ranges, including five to fifteen or two to ten modules for named controller families. The exact controller label and its matching manual therefore decide the valid configuration.
H48074 and FH48074 are different parts despite their similar names and equal nominal energy. H48074 is the 442 mm-wide rack module used in PowerCube, while FH48074 belongs to the Force H1 family. Their controllers and system architecture are not interchangeable; this entry does not assign bare-module dimensions to FH48074.
Lifecycle and warranty
H48074 is absent from Pylontech’s current product list, although PowerCube manuals, certificates and warranty documents remain hosted. It is retained as a superseded installed-system entry.
The current European and UK PowerCube terms name H48074. They begin with seven years and describe free registration for extension to ten years. Minimum capacity changes from 70% of nominal energy in the initial term to 55% at the extended-term end. Purchase records, registration and the applicable controller schedule determine the installed system’s position.
