Capacity and electrical data

UF5000 has 5.12 kWh nominal and 4.864 kWh usable energy at 51.2 V, equivalent to 95% depth of discharge. Recommended and maximum continuous charge and discharge current are both 100 A. The time-limited ranges are 105 to 119 A for 15 minutes and 120 to 200 A for 15 seconds; they are not continuous ratings.

The module measures 442 by 452.6 by 161 mm, weighs 42 kg and has an IP20 enclosure. It uses RS485 and CAN communications, supports up to 20 modules in one group and charges or discharges from -10°C to 55°C. Power is limited below 10°C and above 40°C. Its 15-year design life and greater-than-6,000-cycle figure are test-condition specifications, not a warranty term.

Compatibility and expansion

UF5000 modules connect in parallel as one master and up to 19 slaves. The specified 95% depth of discharge applies when the inverter follows Pylontech’s current protocol.

UK warranty boundary

The hosted UF5000 warranty gives ten years and defines minimum capacity as 60% of nominal energy. However, its territory definition expressly excludes the European Union, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, Japan and Korea. These terms do not establish UK warranty cover.
