Sigen EV AC Charger is Sigenergy’s established AC wallbox family. It is distinct from the SigenStor EV DC module and from the newer Sigen EVAC Charger G2 announced in June 2026. The established range uses 7, 11 and 22 kW labels and is offered with a Type 2 tethered connector or a shuttered Type 2 socket.

Electrical versions

The 7 kW schedule is single-phase. The 11 and 22 kW schedules use three-phase supply ratings. A vehicle’s onboard charger, cable, supply and site limit can all reduce the actual charge rate below the wallbox label.

Integrated residual-current detection covers 30 mA AC and 6 mA DC and is tested to IEC 62955. The charger also includes PEN, overvoltage, undervoltage, overload, temperature, ground-fault and surge functions.

Connectivity and solar charging

Communications are 4G, WLAN and Fast Ethernet. Authentication can use RFID, the mySigen app or automatic charging without authentication. The charger supports OCPP 1.6J ED2.

PV-surplus charging is available in supported systems. It requires SigenStor or a third-party inverter with a Sigen Power Sensor. Dynamic load management also requires the Power Sensor.

Enclosure and warranty

The enclosure is rated IP65 and the operating range is -30°C to 55°C. Current dimensions are 234 × 384 × 139 mm, but an earlier revision gives 126 mm depth.

The European EV AC warranty gives three years for equipment installed on or after 1 November 2023.
