Sigen EV DC Charging Module

Sigen EV DC Charging Module is an optional 12.5 or 25 kW CCS2 module for an established SigenStor system, with vehicle and V2X support dependent on current compatibility.

Sigen EV DC Charging Module is an optional part of the established SigenStor system. It uses the system’s DC side to charge a compatible vehicle through CCS2. It is not a standalone wallbox and must be used with a Sigen Energy Controller.

Two power versions

The module comes in 12.5 and 25 kW versions. Both have a 150 to 1,000 V output range and bidirectional charge and discharge operation. Maximum output current is 40 A for the 12.5 kW module and 80 A for the 25 kW module.

Authentication options are RFID card, the mySigen app or no authentication. The module supports OCPP 1.6J ED2, uses smart air cooling and has an IP66 ingress rating. Actual charge power remains limited by the vehicle, site and complete SigenStor system.

V2X is conditional

Sigenergy presents the module as V2X-ready and publishes both charge and discharge ratings. V2X functionality is vehicle-dependent, and a CCS2 inlet or bidirectional module specification does not establish current vehicle-to-home or vehicle-to-grid operation for a particular car.

Warranty

The European SigenStor terms list three years for the EV DC module.
