Sigen EVAC Charger G2 is a newly announced Sigenergy AC EV charging family. Sigenergy globally launched it alongside SigenStor Neo on 25 June 2026. It is a separate generation from the established 7, 11 and 22 kW Sigen EV AC Charger and should not inherit that product’s specifications or warranty automatically.
Announced system role
G2 is a native part of the SigenStor Neo ecosystem, coordinated through the mySigen app and Sigen AI Mode. Charging schedules can respond to solar production, battery state, household demand and dynamic electricity prices. Sub-1G communication is part of the platform.
For commercial and industrial use, up to 100 charging units can operate in parallel, with energy management within the charging system and integrated MID-certified metering. These are features of the globally announced platform; UK model codes, ratings and features are unconfirmed.
Bidirectional boundary
G2’s announced V2X and vehicle-to-home functions require a supported vehicle, charging protocol, software release, electrical system, market rules and any applicable network approval. A V2X-ready headline does not establish that an arbitrary vehicle can discharge to a UK home or grid.
Home-backup operation is tied to SigenStor Neo. The same functions are not established for the earlier SigenStor generation without an exact compatibility record.
Unconfirmed UK information
As at 22 July 2026, the UK model schedule, rated powers, connector options, installation instructions, availability date and G2-specific European warranty were unconfirmed. Specifications for the earlier EV AC Charger do not apply to G2. Released model codes and their supporting documents will define the UK product.
