Sigen Hybrid Inverter

Sigen Hybrid Inverter is a separate wall-mounted product from the SigenStor Energy Controller. It can operate as a grid-connected solar inverter and, on supported models, add Sigen Battery storage through a SigenStor Battery Controller. It should not be described as a complete SigenStor stack without those separate battery components.

Generations and ratings

SP, TP, SP2 and TP2 identify distinct generations. The SP2 range spans 2 to 6 kW in single-phase form. Each model has two MPPTs, a 50 to 550 V tracking range and 16 A maximum input current per tracker. TP2 is a separate three-phase range whose figures belong to its own exact-model schedule.

The complete model code and generation suffix distinguish the schedules. Figures from TP, TP2, SP and SP2 should not be combined into one apparent specification. SP2 storage requires a SigenStor Battery Controller, supported battery modules and the applicable licence and firmware.

Backup and UK connection

SP2 has a model-specific backup power schedule. Backup power is distinct from grid isolation, protected-circuit design and continuous-power design; the complete system specification controls those functions.

For UK installation, the exact model and firmware should be checked against the current ENA Connect Direct device database. The former public Type Test Register closed on 16 April 2024.

European warranty

Named SP, SP2, TP and TP2 Hybrid models have a ten-year European inverter-system warranty. The Battery Controller and battery have separate SigenStor terms, and the applicable warranty document controls eligibility and exclusions.
