Sigen Energy Controller is the inverter, battery-conversion and energy-management component at the top of an established SigenStor stack. Model codes begin with SigenStor EC.

Model schedules

Separate global schedules cover single-phase, three-phase and three-phase low-voltage models. The single-phase range is 3.0 to 12.0 kW. The standard three-phase range is 5.0 to 30.0 kW, while the three-phase low-voltage range is 5.0 to 12.0 kW. Availability and approval are regional, so the widest global range should not be treated as a UK range statement.

PV design limits also vary. The single-phase schedule uses a 50 to 550 V MPPT range. The standard three-phase schedule uses 160 to 1,000 V. Models have two to four trackers and a 16 A maximum input current per tracker. The exact datasheet must be used for maximum PV power, voltage, string arrangement and short-circuit current.

The controller takes one to six supported SigenStor BAT modules. The exact controller and battery-module combination must follow the applicable compatibility schedule.

Backup boundary

The controller publishes a backup output, but a usable backup arrangement depends on the compatible Sigen Energy Gateway and the complete installed design. Sigenergy’s zero-millisecond load-side disruption figure applies only to a tested combination of Gateway, Energy Controller and Battery under its defined conditions.

UK approval and warranty

UK connection treatment should be based on the exact controller model in the current ENA Connect Direct device database, together with all existing and proposed generation at the premises. The former public Type Test Register closed on 16 April 2024, so its archived records are not the live verification source. A family datasheet is not the approval record.

The European SigenStor warranty covers named SP and TP Energy Controllers for ten years. Ten-year cover for the TPLV family is unconfirmed.
