Three Phase Inverter is the title of SolarEdge’s retained SE3K-SE10K optimised grid-tied family. The official datasheet is marked superseded, separating it from current Home Wave and Home Hub three-phase products.
SE3K-SE10K optimiser architecture
The family uses a fixed-voltage PV architecture with compatible SolarEdge power optimisers.
The rating code identifies the AC power class. Input power, current allocation and permitted optimiser-string design remain model-specific even though the retained schedule presents the products as one family.
No SE3K-SE10K direct battery interface
This superseded grid-tied PV inverter has no direct battery input. Current three-phase Home Wave and Home Hub products are separate families with different functions.
A current SolarEdge battery or backup component should not be applied to an SE3K-SE10K installation from the shared brand name. Compatibility needs the installed inverter’s complete code and an explicit supported-system document.
Home Wave replaced the retained family name
SolarEdge’s current UK residential families are Home Wave, Home Hub and Home Short String. Home Wave three-phase is the closer family-level successor for grid-tied residential PV, but its specifications are not retrospective specifications for this older equipment.
The IP rating and indoor or outdoor description come from the superseded document. Other installation details should be checked against the revision supplied with the unit.
SE3K-SE10K warranty record
The August 2025 general policy covers eligible inverters. Existing equipment remains governed by its serial-specific record and the policy applying to its original sale.
