Sunsynk ECCO 3.6kW is model SYNK-3.6K-SG04LP1, a single-phase hybrid inverter for a low-voltage battery. Its rated AC output is 3.6 kW and maximum AC power is 3.96 kW. That distinction matters when the equipment is recorded for network notification.

PV and battery inputs

The published maximum DC solar input is 7 kW. Two MPPTs each accept one string, across a stated MPPT range of 150 to 425 V. String open-circuit voltage must remain below the 500 V maximum after allowance for the lowest expected module temperature.

The battery input operates from 40 to 60 V with 90 A maximum charge and discharge current for this revision. It supports lead-acid or a compatible lithium battery with BMS communication. Compatibility and current limits depend on the battery and inverter firmware rather than voltage alone.

AC and backup operation

The unit supports grid-tied, off-grid and UPS modes. The source sheet publishes a short off-grid peak of twice rated power for ten seconds and a 35 A maximum continuous AC pass-through. Those are separate limits: neither means the inverter can continuously supply a 7.2 kW household load.

The inverter has two MPPTs, a built-in display, fanless natural cooling and an IP65 enclosure for indoor or outdoor installation. Siting must still provide the required clearances and stay within the operating-temperature range, with output derating above the documented threshold.

Connection record

The current type-test reference for SYNK-3.6K-SG04LP1 governs its network record. The exact model and commissioned capacity distinguish it from other ECCO power classes.

The current exact-model sheet states a five-year warranty, or ten years when the inverter is installed with a Sunsynk battery. That wording conflicts with both the current range-page headline and the structure of Sunsynk’s formal terms, so the dated terms supplied for the installation take precedence over a general duration claim.
