Sunsynk ECCO 5kW is model SYNK-5K-SG04LP1. It is a single-phase hybrid inverter for Sunsynk’s low-voltage battery class, with a 5 kW rated output. The complete model number separates it from Acure Ecco 5kW and the separate product titled Hybrid Inverter 5kW.
PV and AC limits
The inverter accepts up to 6.5 kW of DC input. Its two MPPTs each take one string, with 18 A maximum operating current and 27 A maximum short-circuit current per tracker. The maximum PV input voltage is 500 V and the MPPT range is 150 to 425 V. These separate voltage and current limits all apply when the array is designed.
Rated AC and UPS output is 5 kW; maximum AC power is 5.5 kW. In off-grid operation the sheet permits a 10 kW peak for 10 seconds and gives 35 A as the maximum continuous AC pass-through current. Neither short-duration peak nor pass-through current is a continuous inverter power rating.
Battery boundary
The battery input operates from 40 to 60 V and permits up to 120 A charge or discharge current. “Low voltage” identifies this battery interface class, not household AC voltage. Compatibility remains specific to the complete battery and inverter model codes.
Enclosure and connection
Current weight records conflict between 14.6 kg net on the product page and 17.5 kg in the exact-model sheet. The supplied unit’s nameplate and installation manual therefore control handling and mounting calculations. Both records agree on IP65 protection and natural, fanless cooling. The sheet gives 97.6% maximum and 96.5% European efficiency.
At 5 kW single phase, the product is above 16 A per phase at nominal UK voltage. Connection therefore follows the current G99 or other applicable route, including other generation and any export limitation. A general family statement about G98/G99 compliance does not replace that project-specific approval.
The exact-model sheet states a five-year warranty, or ten years with a Sunsynk battery. The current range-page headline and formal terms describe cover differently, so the terms issued for the model and installation date need checking.
