VCHRGD TwentyTwo Pro is a single-outlet Mode 3 chargepoint for home, workplace, fleet and destination use. It has 7, 11 and 22 kW operating classes. Reaching 22 kW requires a suitable three-phase supply and a vehicle with a 22 kW AC onboard charger. The configured site limit may be lower.

Socket and earlier variants

The current TwentyTwo Pro range is untethered and uses a universal Type 2 socket. Earlier part numbers include tethered versions. The complete code identifies the connector and communications variant of an installed unit.

Connectivity and control

Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth, RFID and OCPP 1.6J are standard on the current product. OCPP allows connection to a compatible chargepoint-operator or fleet back office for authorisation, records and remote control. Available features, data retention and ongoing cellular terms depend on the selected service rather than OCPP support alone.

Dynamic load management uses current transformers to measure the electrical supply and reduce charging demand where necessary. The installation guide also provides grid and solar CT inputs. Solar-aware operation responds to measured site import and export, while the vehicle remains limited by its onboard charger.

Enclosure and protection

Charging current is adjustable from 6 to 32 A. The IP54 and IK10 enclosure measures 300 × 180 × 90 mm and weighs approximately 3.5 kg. Protection functions include PEN-fault detection, 6 mA DC leakage detection and voltage, current and temperature monitoring. External residual-current and overcurrent protection must follow the exact supply arrangement and installation requirements.

The charger has a three-year warranty. Exact VP-022 part numbers distinguish its cable and communication versions.
