Battery-Box HVS+ is a high-voltage LFP battery in BYD Energy Storage’s current global residential portfolio. It is a distinct family from the established Battery-Box Premium HVS, even though their size names and usable-energy figures are similar. HVS+ has European warranty terms, while UK new-supply status is unconfirmed.
Four configurations
HVS+ uses 2.56 kWh, 102.4 V modules. Two, three, four or five modules form HVS+ 5.1, 7.7, 10.2 or 12.8 respectively. Their usable capacities are 5.12, 7.68, 10.24 and 12.8 kWh.
Every tower has a 25 A maximum output current and a 55 A peak for 15 seconds. Maximum charge and discharge power is 12.8 kW for one tower.
Up to three identical towers can be connected in parallel for a maximum of 38.4 kWh.
Installation and system role
The tower is floor-mounted and rated IP55. Its operating range is -10°C to 50°C. A fixed low-temperature derating interval is unconfirmed. Battery round-trip efficiency is at least 95%.
Generation and European warranty
The European residential letter available on 22 July 2026 covers HVS+ systems installed in Europe on or after 1 September 2025. It provides a ten-year product warranty and performance cover until the earlier of ten years at 60% retained usable energy or the model’s minimum throughput. Throughput runs from 15.41 MWh for HVS+ 5.1 to 38.53 MWh for HVS+ 12.8. The established Premium HVS warranty is not substituted because HVS+ is a separate generation.
