Fronius Reserva is a current high-voltage LFP battery designed for compatible Fronius hybrid inverters. It is DC-coupled, so solar power can be stored on the DC side of the inverter before conversion for household use.

Four tower sizes

Reserva 6.3, 9.5, 12.6 and 15.8 contain two, three, four and five modules. Their exact usable capacities are 6.31, 9.47, 12.63 and 15.79 kWh. Rated voltage rises with the module count from 204.8 to 512 V.

Maximum output current is 32 A, subject to the inverter’s own charge and discharge limit. Up to four batteries can operate in parallel. Four maximum towers contain 63.16 kWh usable by arithmetic, subject to the current compatibility and configuration limits.

Installation and compatibility

The enclosure is rated IP65 and permitted indoors or in a protected outdoor location. The ambient range is -20°C to 55°C, with charge or discharge power restricted at some temperatures.

Reserva is compatible with supported Fronius hybrid inverters except the older Symo Hybrid. Compatibility depends on the exact inverter model, software and permitted battery layout.

Backup and warranty

Reserva is the storage component, not an independent AC backup supply.

Reserva has a ten-year warranty. The full battery terms, commissioning record and serial-number position determine the actual cover. Warranty terms for a Fronius inverter do not replace the battery warranty.
