Logic Air 5kW is Ideal’s current model between the 4 and 8 kW capacity names. Its product code is AH750665. The live manufacturer range and MCS Product Directory use 5 kW, not 6 kW.

Output and seasonal figures

The current rated point is 5.0 kW at 7°C outdoor air with 35°C or 55°C water. Output at a home’s design outdoor temperature comes from the capacity chart and system design, not from the family name alone.

Ideal’s Rev D SCOP (seasonal coefficient of performance) values are 5.07 at 35°C and 3.65 at 55°C. The live MCS record gave 4.39 and 3.06 on 23 July 2026. Both pairs describe their own published dataset and temperature; they should not be combined into a single seasonal result.

Hardware and water circuit

The unit is a single-phase R32 monobloc with a 0.88 kg factory charge. It shares its casing with the 4 kW model. Rev D lists dimensions of 798 mm high, 1,095 mm wide and 518 mm deep and a weight of 86 kg. The current AHU-onwards installation guide instead gives 521 mm depth for this casing, so the base, clearances and pipework follow the document for the exact serial generation.

Ideal sets a minimum outdoor operating temperature of -20°C, a maximum flow temperature of 60°C and a minimum water flow of 8.5 litres per minute. The heat-loss calculation, design flow temperature, open system volume and emitter outputs determine how that envelope is used in a property.

Published sound power is 52 dB(A). A siting assessment needs sound pressure at the relevant receptor and the effects of distance, reflective surfaces and barriers.

Certification and warranty

KIWA 00027/023 HP was current in the Product Directory through 25 August 2027 at the review date. Ideal’s standard homeowner page describes up to seven years of parts-and-labour warranty with registration within 30 days and annual servicing, subject to terms. The optional paid extension route lists a maximum of ten years.
