Logic Air 8kW

Logic Air 8kW is product code AH750666. It is the smaller model in the taller Logic Air casing and remains a 230 V single-phase R32 monobloc.

Output records

Ideal’s March 2026 Rev D sheet gives 8.0 kW at the 7°C outdoor, 35°C water point and at the corresponding 55°C water point. The live HTML product table separately shows 8.2 kW. These values should not be silently merged: the exact current specification and the installation guide for the unit’s serial generation govern the product record and design.

Output also changes away from that test condition. Rev D provides a capacity chart by outdoor and flow temperature, which is the relevant form of data for comparing the unit with a room-by-room heat-loss design.

The current manufacturer seasonal figures are 5.16 at 35°C and 3.70 at 55°C. The MCS record gave 5.09 and 3.63 on 23 July 2026. Each pair remains labelled to its source dataset.

Installation characteristics

The outdoor unit contains 1.47 kg of R32. Its published dimensions are 1,008 mm high, 1,095 mm wide and 518 mm deep, with a weight of 110 kg. Minimum hydronic flow is 14.5 litres per minute.

Ideal gives a -20°C minimum outdoor operating temperature and a 60°C maximum flow temperature. Neither limit says that nominal output is available with both conditions occurring together. The operating map, defrost requirements and available emitter output remain part of the design.

Sound power is 55 dB(A). Location-specific sound pressure depends on operating state, distance and the acoustic setting.

Current record and cover

KIWA 00027/021 HP was current through 25 August 2027 at the review date. Standard homeowner warranty wording is up to seven years with registration within 30 days and annual servicing, subject to terms. Ideal’s optional paid extension gives a maximum of ten years for Logic Air.
