Pylontech US2000C is a low-voltage, rack-mounted LFP battery retained for installed systems. The current product range presents US5000 rather than US2000C, while the European and UK US-series warranty still covers US2000C and the hosted UP5000 manual permits it in specified mixed groups.

Capacity and current

US2000C has 2.4 kWh nominal and 2.28 kWh usable energy at 48 V. Normal charge and discharge current is 25 A, with 50 to 89 A available for up to 60 seconds and 90 to 200 A for up to 15 seconds. These short-duration values are not continuous power ratings.

The module measures 442 by 410 by 89 mm, weighs 22.5 kg in the later combined manufacturer sheet and has an IP20 enclosure. The installed nameplate and applicable manual revision should be used for handling and rack loading.

Expansion and compatibility

The later US-series sheet publishes up to 16 US2000C modules in one string and provides RS485 and CAN communication ports. The connected inverter can still limit aggregate current below the batteries’ combined capability.

Pylontech’s UP5000 manual permits US2000C in specified mixed groups. Its master priority is UP5000, US3000C, US2000C, US3000 and then US2000. Positions 2 to 8 may use any of those five types; positions 9 to 16 are restricted to UP5000, US3000C or US2000C. In the manual’s single-group arrangement, the unit with an empty Link Port 0 is the master. Multi-group design requires enough cable pairs for the current, suitable DC protection and the specified CAN or RS485 arrangement.

That exception does not establish compatibility with every Pylontech low-voltage product. The Pelio-L-5.12 manual expressly prohibits parallel connection with the US series, UP series or other Pylontech 48 V DC products.

Warranty record

The hosted European and UK US-series terms begin with seven years from installation or six months after manufacture, whichever occurs first. They describe free registration for extension to ten years. Minimum capacity is defined as 70% of nominal energy during the initial term and 60% at the end of the extension, alongside a separate time-value replacement calculation. The dated terms and registration record determine the applicable cover.
