Pylontech US3000C is a low-voltage, rack-mounted LFP battery retained for installed systems. It does not appear as a current product in Pylontech’s live catalogue, which now presents US5000. The current European and UK US-series warranty and the hosted UP5000 manual still identify US3000C.
Capacity and power boundaries
The combined manufacturer sheet gives 3.552 kWh nominal and 3.374 kWh usable energy at 48 V. Normal charge and discharge current is 37 A. It separately publishes 74 to 89 A for up to 60 seconds and 90 to 200 A for up to 15 seconds. Battery temperature, state of charge, firmware and the inverter can impose lower limits.
The enclosure measures 442 by 420 by 132 mm, weighs 32 kg and is IP20. Rack or cabinet loading needs to account for every module, its supports, cables and clearances rather than the battery weight alone.
Expansion and mixed banks
The later US-series sheet gives 16 modules in one string. Communications and master selection matter as the bank grows. A system should not derive maximum power by multiplying the short-duration current of one module by the module count without checking the manufacturer architecture and inverter limit.
Pylontech’s UP5000 manual permits selected mixed groups containing US3000C and gives UP5000 priority as master. It also restricts which models may occupy positions nine to sixteen. This does not extend to Pelio, whose manual expressly excludes parallel connection with US and UP products.
Warranty record
The current hosted European and UK US-series terms start with seven years from installation or six months after manufacture, whichever comes first. Free registration is described for extension to ten years. The document defines 70% of nominal energy as minimum capacity during the initial term and 60% at the end of the extension, with a separate time-value replacement statement. Proof of purchase, registration and system records are material to a claim.
