Pylontech US3000 is a 48 V, rack-mounted LFP battery used in earlier low-voltage storage systems. It is not in Pylontech’s current product list. The current European and UK US-series warranty and the hosted US5000 manual still name it, so it remains relevant to installed equipment.
Capacity and current
The Pylontech family sheet gives 3.552 kWh nominal and 3.37 kWh usable energy. Recommended charge and discharge current is 37 A. The same sheet gives 74 A for up to 60 seconds and 100 A for up to 15 seconds. Those higher figures are not continuous ratings.
The module measures 442 by 420 by 132 mm, weighs 32 kg and provides RS485 and CAN communications. Its IP20 classification means it relies on a suitable indoor installation environment. The family sheet publishes eight modules in a string for this product generation.
Expansion and compatibility
The later US5000 manual documents US3000 in a selected mixed group with US5000 as master. US3000 may appear among modules two to eight but not in positions nine to sixteen. This narrow schedule should not be extended to other battery families or used without checking firmware, cable and inverter requirements.
The model designation matters because US3000 and US3000C are separate products. Their dimensions are similar, but their current schedules, master priority and document revisions must not be assumed identical. The installed label and applicable manual should govern service work.
Warranty record
Pylontech’s hosted European and UK US-series terms name US3000. They begin with seven years and describe free registration for extension to ten years. They define minimum capacity as 70% of nominal energy during the initial term and 60% at the end of the extension, alongside a separate time-value replacement calculation.
For an existing system, purchase evidence, installation date, registration and the dated terms issued with the battery determine the actual position.
