EHS Mono R32 is Samsung’s earlier R32 monobloc family. It remains on the live UK product site alongside the later R290 Mono and R32 Mono HT Quiet ranges.
Live range and exact codes
The current UK page displays 5, 8 and 12 kW capacity classes. Their outdoor prefixes are AE050RXY, AE080RXY and AE120RXY. Current certification records also contain other R32 Mono combinations, so a code found on an existing installation should be checked in full rather than assigned to the visible three-size schedule from its capacity alone.
The unit contains R32 outdoors and connects to the heating system with water. Samsung combinations use either a control kit with separate hot-water storage or a ClimateHub indoor unit. The paired indoor or control code is part of the system record.
Published 5 kW operating data
Samsung’s detailed 5 kW sheet gives a 15°C to 65°C leaving-water range for heating, operation down to -25°C and a 45 decibels A-weighted normal sound-pressure figure. These values are for the named AE050RXYDEG/EU form and are not universal figures for every R32 Mono capacity.
Design output is determined at the project’s outdoor and flow-temperature conditions. A 65°C operating limit does not mean the nominal capacity or seasonal efficiency is maintained at that temperature.
Current and existing systems
Exact R32 Mono records remained current in the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) Product Directory on 23 July 2026, including 5, 8, 12 and 16 kW combinations with differing certification periods. The manufacturer page’s live capacity selector and the certification register therefore have different scopes.
For an existing unit, the outdoor code, control equipment, hydraulic arrangement and manual revision are the useful records. R290 instructions for the later Mono range must not be substituted for this R32 product.
