All in One
The withdrawn GivEnergy All in One, model GIV-AIO-AC-13.5, combines a 13.5 kWh battery and 6 kW AC-coupled inverter in one enclosure.

The GivEnergy All in One is a single-enclosure home battery that houses the cells, the inverter and the control electronics in one cabinet, sold by GivEnergy for UK homes. The original unit is listed under the code GIV-AIO-AC-13.5. GivEnergy later released a second-generation unit, the All in One 2, which is a separate product with different specifications.
Capacity and depth of discharge
Usable capacity is the energy the home can actually draw from the pack. Capacity is measured at full depth of discharge, so the headline and usable figures are the same. The cabinet contains four removable battery modules and uses LFP cells.
Power output and backup
Continuous power is 6 kW. The 7.2 kW peak rating is available for ten seconds in off-grid operation under the corresponding regional specification.
On-grid the unit charges and discharges with no extra hardware. Whole-home backup during a power cut is a separate function that needs GivEnergy’s Gateway, which isolates the property from the network and lets the battery run the home as an island. The battery on its own does not provide that changeover.
Coupling, siting and scaling
AC-coupled means the unit charges and discharges through its own built-in inverter on the AC side of the home. It works on top of an existing solar array rather than routing the panels through it, so it can be retrofitted to a property that already generates without replacing the solar inverter. It connects at 230 V nominal, across a 180 to 270 V range. The enclosure is rated IP65, and cooling is passive at a typical noise emission below 30 decibels. Parallel operation was still marked as forthcoming in March 2025, so current product documents must support any multi-unit design.
Certification and warranty
MCS certifies battery installations through an installer standard rather than listing home battery products in its Product Directory, so there is no product-level MCS entry to look up for the All in One. Certification here attaches to the installed system and the installer, not to the battery as a catalogue item. The datasheet carried a twelve-year warranty term, but GivEnergy Ltd’s administrator has since stated that the company will honour no further hardware warranties.
Availability and manufacturer status
GivEnergy Ltd entered administration and ceased trading on 9 April 2026. The original All in One and its successor, the All in One 2, are therefore withdrawn from new supply by that manufacturer. The two generations have different electrical specifications and remain relevant to installed systems.
The administrator has stated that GivEnergy Ltd will honour no further hardware warranties or user and software support. As at 22 July 2026, GivEnergy Software Limited was not included in the administration and remained active, but its separate operation does not restore the hardware warranty.
