MSZ-LN is Mitsubishi Electric’s premium R32 wall-mounted family for fixed room heating and cooling. It combines four indoor-unit finishes with integrated room sensing, air filtration and MELCloud Home control.
Position in the M Series range
LN differs from the other current wall-mounted M Series families through its four finishes and its combination of 3D i-see sensing, integrated Plasma Quad filtration and Dual-Barrier coating. The finishes are Ruby Red, Onyx Black, Pearl White and Natural White. All five indoor sizes use the same 890 mm-wide cabinet.
The 3D i-see sensor detects occupancy, occupant position and body temperature, then adjusts the airflow pattern. Plasma Quad is integrated rather than an optional add-on. Dual-Barrier coating covers the heat exchanger, fan and air duct.
Two current-source conflicts remain. The February 2026 PI cover says six capacities, but its exact table contains the five codes below. Plasma Quad is built in according to the later February 2026 schedule, but called a Plasma Quad Connect filter on the live product page. Model codes and pairings
An LN indoor code combines the equipment type, family, capacity class, revision and finish. MSZ-LN35VG3B, for example, is an LN indoor unit in the 3.5 kW nominal cooling class, using the current VG3 revision in Onyx Black. The finish letter is part of the complete indoor-unit code.

MSZ identifies the indoor unit in these combinations. MUZ identifies the matched single-split outdoor unit, while MXZ identifies multi-split outdoor equipment. LN18 has no matching MUZ-LN18 row. Its SEER, SCOP and energy-class cells are blank in the family PI table.
Controls and size-dependent equipment
Wi-Fi is built in across the current VG3 range. MELCloud Home provides remote control and monitoring, with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice control. The backlit handheld controller includes scheduling.
LN50 and LN60 use larger outdoor units than LN25 and LN35. Maximum pipe length increases from 20 m to 30 m at LN50, while LN60 also increases the maximum height difference from 12 m to 15 m.
