Aquarea K Series is a Panasonic R32 generation covering High Performance and T-CAP systems. It is a refrigerant split: pipework carrying R32 connects the outdoor and indoor units.
High Performance and T-CAP codes differ
Current High Performance combinations use WH-UDZ outdoor codes with WH-SDC hydraulic indoor units or WH-ADC All in One units. Current certification records include 3, 5, 7 and 9 kW capacity classes, with an additional 12 kW hydraulic combination.
K Series T-CAP systems use WH-UXZ outdoor codes. Current records include 9, 12 and 16 kW forms across single-phase and three-phase arrangements. The range name and both equipment codes are needed because K Series 9 kW can describe more than one indoor package.
Published temperature information
Panasonic’s K Generation launch material states water output up to 60°C at an outdoor temperature of -10°C. That statement should not be transferred to L or M generation equipment, which uses R290 and has a different operating envelope.
The same launch material describes a 185 litre stainless-steel cylinder in the K Series All in One arrangement. That is an indoor-package capacity, not a feature of every K Series system. Panasonic’s selector also shows separate backup-heater and electrical-supply forms.
Certification and project records
Exact current WH-UDZ and WH-UXZ combinations were present in the MCS Product Directory on 23 July 2026. Most K records returned in that check showed certification through April 2033, with some later additions showing later dates. The live exact combination remains the relevant check.
As an R32 split system, refrigerant pipework and the competent-person requirements that apply to that work form part of installation. The indoor and outdoor codes identify the matched system; the generation letter does not.
